This place offers central heating, an iron/ironing board, and TV in the family room, along with great beds and an excellent bathroom; the location is decent and particularly good being close to the sea.

The compact superior room had comfy beds. Lovely breakfast options with a fried egg. - Great location in Workington, close to the train station and restaurant. - Good area near the town center.

Everything was simply excellent. Generally, loved this newly decorated accommodation with amicable staff on the reception desk. We booked standard twin room and could use wake-up service, available in it.

Chris
The location here is fantastic, being very close to the city center, and the breakfast selection is excellent with a wide variety of delicious options available.

Hotel is a not a good description.. This is a low quality inn at the best. Bad facilities, very old / dirty and noisy area. NOT RECOMMENDED

The room was modern and clean, and for a working man not bad, was lacking for the business traveler
Parking was a ordeal and timing was needed, not the type of hotel I would normaly stay at.

The staff were very friendly & helpful and the room while basic was as clean as any hotel room I have ever stayed in.
squeaky floorboards in room above kept me awake. breakfast was releatively poor quality (although well cooked)

Good friendly atmosphere. 'All you can eat' buffet breakfast. Good food/portions/choice at evening meal, although more good class pub food rather than gourmet. Two minutes from shops, so good location in this sense. A short drive to lake district amenities, and countryside.
Slightly run down end of town, but close to centre. Other local pubs mean it's a bit noisy at times; probably not ideal hotel for children, as hotel bar is pub bar with Sky Sports on most of time. Lots of hotel clients are local contractors weekdays.
